FAA Proposes $350,000 Civil Penalty Against Amazon
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a $350,000 civil penalty against Amazon.com for allegedly violating the Hazardous Materials Regulations. FAA alleges Amazon offered to United Parcel Service (UPS) a package with a one-gallon container of “Amazing! LIQUID FIRE,” for transportation by air from Louisville, Ky., to Boulder, Colo.
