FAQ

1

Do you produce a print (hardcopy) version you can mail me?

Not at this time. However, you should be able to get our video or radio versions on your local television/radio news station or cable system. If you like the internet version - contact your broadcasters or cable companies and tell them "I want my AeroSpaceNews.com!" You folks in the Armed Forces should ask the Armed Forces Network to carry us too.

2

3

What kind of news/features stories do you do? What are your editorial ethics?

In our coverage of aviation, space and defense, we go for tactics, technology, safety and major milestones... we also produce product reviews, airline, space and armed forces unit profiles, pilot reports, major trade show coverage and the like.

We don't do stock prices, labor troubles, e-commerce, industrial process... basically we cover the exciting, evolving "edge of the envelope" subjects.

A small business based in Southern California, we are editorially independent, non-governmental, and operate with vigorous journalistic ethics. Our coverage is free from bias or opinion, unless a post is clearly labeled as an opinion piece. Advertisers and sponsors receive no special treatment with respect to news coverage.

4

Who is your target audience?

Industry professionals and the general public. It is our view that the trade magazines have taken an exciting, visually breathtaking subject and converted it into a dull, drab topic in the name of legendary industry conservatism. It's as if they had the excitement and glamour surgically removed.

On the other hand, the general public can't find informed, accurate and in-depth coverage from the mass media outlets they access. We operate on the assumption that trade-level content for a mass audience is the right mix. "Down (mass) market does not need to be 'dumbed' down." And serious reporting has no need to be dull.

5

Do you accept sponsorship or advertising?

Is this a trick question? Of course! Click aerospace advertising to learn more.

6

Are you looking for anything specific these days?

In addition to news tips, story leads and event invitations, we are seeking sponsors in the audio/video equipment industry to underwrite our expanded radio and television coverage. We'd like a major sponsor for our 2016 Air Show/Trade Show coverage, and hardware/software support for our simulation/gaming and post-production requirements.

Manufacturers of interesting aviation accessories should contact us to arrange for reviews. Publishers and authors of books in our subject area should also contact us about interviews with authors for our radio show.

7

Does your publication provide staff for interviews or public speaking?

All the time. Our Editor is a regular public speaker and sought after aerospace expert. He has appeared on the History Channel, Military Channel and Discovery Channel, KFWB News 98 (Westinghouse), KNX 1070 (CBS), KCRW 89.9 (NPR), KEYT 3 (ABC), KVTA 1520 (GoldCoast), Computerworld Magazine and KVEN 1450 (McDonald Media Group).
