787 To Be Reviewed by FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says it is going to conduct a review of the Boeing 787's design and production. The effort will examine critical systems says the agency, as well as the assembly of the airplane, and its novel, for industry standards, technology.

This move comes as no surprise as the FAA reacts to the over coverage of the 787's in-service issues, troubles Boeing points out, that match those of what is judged by many as a very successful introduction, that of Boeing's 777.
