Autonomous Aerial Refueling Tests of C-12 (Beechcraft King Air) and Lear 25 over Edwards Air Force Base

In this edition we bring you an exclusive interview with Capt. Steven Ross, a student at the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base.

We'll be talking with Capt. Ross about his extraordinary project to develop and demonstrate an autonomous aerial refueling capability. While not a part of any specific military programs today, this concept is likely to have application in future unmanned and piloted weapon systems.
