Republic Airways Signs $150 Million Deal with GE

EVENDALE, Ohio - August 30, 2005 - Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. has signed a 10-year OnPointSM Solutions service agreement with General Electric Company for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of 110 CF34-8E engines powering the airline's fleet of Embraer 170 aircraft. The 10-year agreement is valued at approximately $150 million.


Republic Airways Holdings currently operates a fleet on nearly 30 Embraer 170 aircraft. This fleet supports Republic's code-sharing agreements with Delta Air Lines, U.S. Airways, and United Airlines, which provide the airlines with portions of their regional service from hubs in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, and Washington/Dulles.

Backed by GE's world-class support, these solutions maximize asset value and utilization and improve operating efficiencies. OnPoint services include overhaul, on-wing support, new and used parts, component repair, technology upgrades, engine leasing and diagnostics.
