Arianespace-Soyuz Pleiades 1B Launched

After a one day delay, Arianespace says the launch of the Pleiades 1B aboard an Arianespace-Soyuz vehicle was successfully achieved on the evening of 1 December 2012, local French Guiana time.

According to Arianespace:

* The flight lasted 55 minutes
* The Soyuz launch vehicle deployed its 970 kg. satellite into a circular orbit of 695 km., inclined 98.2 deg.
* This is the fourth launch for the Soyuz from the "near-equatorial" launch site in French Guiana.
