Brazilian Jet From Gol Airlines Missing
The Associated Press (AP) is reporting that a plane belonging to Brazilian carrier Gol Airlines is missing after colliding with a corporate aircraft over densely forested Amazonian jungle.
The AP quotes Wladamir Caze, of the Brazilian Aviation Authority as saying Gol flight 1907 departed from the city of Manaus in the jungles of Brazil and disappeared after striking the other jet.
According to the same report, there were 140 passengers and crew aboard.
