January 2015 Stargazing – Skywatching – Astronomy Night Sky

Here is your quick video guide to January 2015 stargazing and sky-watching of the astronomy events visible in the night sky: Jupiter's moons Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto are going to be amazing this month. Thanks to the orbital path of the moons shifting edge-on to the sun and earth it will be possible to see these Jovian satellites pass and eclipse each other.

On the evening of January 23rd you can try to observe the shadows of three moons, Io, Europa and Callisto, all appearing on the surface of Jupiter.
