Eurocopter EC-135 T2 Helicopter Crashes In Scotland

A Eurocopter EC-135 T2 police helicopter has crashed into a crowded pub called the Clutha, in Glasgow, Scotland. The accident is reported to have occurred at 10:25 pm, local time, 29 November 2013, in an area described as Stockwell Street located on the banks of the River Clyde.

The BBC is reporting the incident aircraft was Police Scotland's SP 99. It appears the rotorcraft was flown by a civilian pilot with two police officers on board as additional crew. A police spokesman said all three in the aircraft were killed.

Police Scotland have also said at least five in the pub were killed while some additional 14 others are very seriously injured.
