GE Capital Delivers First Leased Boeing 777-300ER to EVA Air

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, announced it delivered the first of six leased Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to EVA Air as part of the airline’s fleet renewal program.

The aircraft was part of GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing. The five additional leased 777s are scheduled for delivery to EVA in 2016 and 2017.

EVA Air, a Star Alliance member, was established in 1989 as Taiwan's first privately owned international airline. It is part of the Evergreen Group and a sister company to global container-shipping leader Evergreen Line. It flies a fleet of over 70 Boeing and Airbus aircraft to more than 60 international destinations throughout Asia, Oceania, Europe and North America.
