Hot Pic MV-22 Osprey Tiltrotor Picture – Night – Iraq – Free Wallpaper Picture

This night picture of an MV-22 Osprey Tiltrotor aircraft in Iraq has become rather popular and widely re-published. And it is no wonder, there is a strange and beautiful blend of astro photography, combat operations, high technology and esprit de corps. Astro photo you say? Yes, if you look carefully you can see stars in the nighttime sky above the Marine Corps vertical lift aircraft.

This V-22 picture was captured while the tiltrotor was refueled prior to the start of a mission in central Iraq. The original photo was published by the Department of Defense on 2 February 2008.
