787 To Be Reviewed by FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says it is going to conduct a review of the Boeing 787’s design and production. The effort will examine critical systems says the agency, as well as the assembly of the airplane, and its novel, for industry standards, technology.

Boeing 787 Fire Investigation Update

New details are coming to light as the investigation into the fire aboard a Japan Airlines Boeing 787 at Boston’s Logan International airport continues. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued an update that describes a small area of the incident aircraft damaged by the event but a fire that seems to have taken a long time to extinguish.
